Are you looking to build relationships so that we can grow in Christ? That is the mission statement for Family Ministries and we would love to have you join our team. We plan 2nd Sunday lunch, Parents of Young Children and other events for the year.

Family Advent Celebration
You are invited to this year's Family Advent Celebration which will be held on Sunday, December 6 beginning with a pot luck supper at 5:30 PM in the church gym. Families are asked to bring a dish to pass. A sign up sheet will be posted in the Welcome Center.
During the meal there will be an opportunity for children and youth who play an instrument or sing to share their musical gifts. Following the meal the children will present a Christmas program entitled "A Shepherd's Story". Speaking parts will be given out at Sunday School by the Sunday School teachers.
There will be a children's choir for children in grades K-6 and rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:00. The Angel Choir (children in Pre K - grade 2) will also be singing.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE
Join us each week for dinner and fellowship in the Community Room!
Cost: $3.50 Adults $1.50/kids 8 & under

Parents of Young Children
Parents of Young Children will resume in the Fall on Friday evenings beginning on Friday, September 18.

If you have children from zero to Grade 5, (or even if you don't have children) please join us for Parents of Young Children. This is the perfect time to join in the fun and meet other parents at CUMC!

For those of you new to the group, we meet once a month on a Friday night at 6:00 p.m. Pizza and drinks are provided. Everyone brings a simple dish to pass (from Oreos to a bag of carrots)! After dinner, we provide childcare for your children and the adults have some quality time to get to know each other (usually with a lot of laughs)! We usually wrap-up around 8:00 p.m.

Second Sunday Soup & Sandwiches
Join us for Second Sunday Soup and Sandwiches on the second Sunday each month at noon. Please call the church office at 759.8921 by the Friday before the second Sunday.
